Make it yours
Bring together a microcontroller, round display and enclosure to create a little desk gadget.
See the skies
Explore how live flight information can be turned into a radar-style view.
Understand the tech
Discover the basics of displays, electronics, software and how connected devices work.
What's on the workbench?_
Our current prototype explores these parts:
- ESP32-based microcontroller
- Compact round colour display
- Rotary control for interacting with the display
- Custom-designed enclosure
- Beginner-friendly build guidance
We're still testing component choices, assembly and software before confirming the final kit contents.
Made to be built together_
We're aiming for an approachable, hands-on experience that makes the technology understandable and fun.
Price, age suitability, build time, included parts, power requirements and availability have not yet been finalised. The flight-data source and its commercial permissions are also under review.
