// YOUR DATA, YOUR CHOICE

Privacy Policy_

Last updated: 27 October 2026

In short: We use the information you give us to send the launch updates you request, respond to enquiries and operate this website. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

1. Who we are

My Little Project is a UK-based sole-trader business. The individual trading as My Little Project is the data controller responsible for personal information described in this policy.

For privacy questions, access requests or other enquiries, contact [email protected]. A business correspondence address is not currently published; please contact us by email if you need a postal contact route.

2. What information we collect

Our website is currently a pre-launch information site. We do not currently take payments or collect delivery addresses through it.

3. Why we use your information

4. Newsletter and MailerLite

Our mailing list is managed using MailerLite. When you subscribe, MailerLite processes your details on our behalf to manage subscriptions and deliver emails. We use a confirmation email (double opt-in) to check that you want to join.

Every marketing email should include an unsubscribe option. You can also ask us to remove you by emailing [email protected]. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.

5. Hosting, service providers and international transfers

Our website is hosted using Cloudflare Pages, and we use Cloudflare for domain and email-routing services. We use MailerLite for newsletter forms and emails. These providers may process technical or subscription information to provide their services.

Some processing may take place outside the UK. Where UK data protection law requires safeguards for international transfers, we rely on applicable lawful transfer mechanisms and safeguards used by our service providers. Contact us if you would like more information about a particular transfer.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

The website includes a MailerLite subscription form and may use provider technologies needed for form operation, spam prevention and security. We have not yet completed a full audit of cookies and similar technologies. We will update this section and introduce any required consent controls before using non-essential cookies or tracking technologies that require consent. We do not intend to use information from newsletter forms for unrelated advertising without an appropriate legal basis.

7. How long we keep information

We keep newsletter subscription details while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we may retain limited suppression or consent records where reasonably necessary to respect your choice, demonstrate compliance or resolve disputes. We retain enquiry messages only for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the enquiry and any related legal obligations. Security and technical records are retained according to operational needs and provider settings. We periodically review whether information is still needed.

8. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you rights to access, correct or erase personal data, restrict or object to processing, receive certain data in a portable form, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.

9. Children's privacy

Our projects may be designed for families and children, but the newsletter is intended for adults such as parents, carers and educators. Children should not submit personal information through the signup form without appropriate adult involvement. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website, services or business develop. The date at the top indicates the latest revision. Before launching an online shop or adding analytics or advertising tools, we will review and expand this policy as needed.
